Electric car revenge is sweet. Add solar to the mix and it's even sweeter.

Chris Paine's forthcoming documentary 'Revenge of the Electric Car' -- the much anticipated follow-up to the hit documentary 'Who Killed the Electric Car?' -- is now out in trailer form, after it hit 10,000 fans on Facebook a few days ago.

The trailer seems to indicate 'Revenge' will focus quite a bit on the famous guys -- meaning General Motors, Nissan, and Tesla Motors. And solar's nowhere to be seen in the trailer.

But that doesn't mean solar won't get some of the spotlight in 'Revenge' -- at least we hope so.

The 'Revenge' web site spotlights several current EV-ers who've gotten revenge by going electric. Some of these folks are are solar-charging their EVs.

For instance, there's Dr. Rob Wilder and his family in California, who are solar-charging a Tesla Roadster. Randy Jackson, also a Californian, is solar-charging a Teslar Roadster as well. Finally, there's MINI E driver, Tom Moloughney, whom SolarChargedDriving.Com has profiled, who's solar-charging his MINI E in New Jersey.

We don't know if any of these folks are going to be in the documentary, but we hope some of them are.

After all, there's no sweeter revenge than a solar-charged electric car which delivers individual and national fueling independence, fuel savings, and, last, but certainly not least, clean air and reduced global warming.
