Tokyo, Japan - If an electric car is overkill for you but you still want to say you're solar-charging your way to work and back, you might want to look into an electric bike -- and move to Japan.
Sanyo has erected a solar parking lot for electric bikes inTokushima Prefecture, located on Shikoku Island. Bikers simply park their bike, remove the battery, and place it in the charging bay. The solar power re-charger is 100-percent independent of any conventional power source.
